SKEANIE answers retailers’ SOS calls!

SKEANIE, the manufacturer of hip and healthy shoes for children, approved by leading podiatrists around the world and the choice of a number of Hollywood’s celebrity Mums,  has today announced a new “Sell or Swap” scheme for SKEANIE retailers in the UK & Ireland.

The new “Sell or Swap” scheme allows retailers to replace any products which they do not sell from SKEANIE’s  Spring / Summer season with the security that United Brand Management, SKEANIE’s European distributor, will replace with new products from the Autumn / Winter range for any products that the retailer does not sell. The “Sell or Swap” scheme provides retailers a unique, risk free purchasing opportunity.

Mel Hearn, SKEANIE Brand Manager explains,

“Since our launch in Europe we have been delighted with the sell through rates that our retailers have experienced. We feel so confident that our family of retail partners will sell their SKEANIE shoes we will effectively replace any shoes that they do not sell at the end of the season with new shoes from our next collection – meaning that they are sure to retain their full margins and not have to discount.”

SKEANIE, who since their launch in Europe, have received critical acclaim have made a number of significant announcements this month with a number of senior appointments, including top podiatrist Tracy Byrne who has joined SKEANIE as a consultant.  Tracy will provide input to product development and is developing a series of training courses for retailers.

SKEANIE Sell or Swap Terms & Conditions (UK & Ireland only)

The SKEANIE Sell or Swap Scheme (The Scheme) applies only to retailers in the UK and Republic of Ireland.

These Terms and Conditions are in addition to any normal Terms and Conditions of Supply as may have been provided to retailers in any earlier communications, and the usual procedure / deadline for returning incorrect or faulty products will apply.

The Scheme allows retailers to replace any products which they do not sell in one season, e.g. Spring/Summer with new products from the following season, e.g. Autumn/Winter. 

For the purposes of The Scheme, there are 2 seasons – Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter.At the time of placing an order the retailer has to specify that it wishes to participate in The Scheme.

At the time of joining The Scheme, SKEANIE will specify to the retailer the dates and / or season(s) that will apply in relation to supply and return of unsold products. These dates must be strictly adhered to by the retailer. If the specified dates are not met by the retailer, SKEANIE reserves the right to cancel any / all of its obligations under The Scheme.

All returned products must be in their original condition, which includes tags and any packaging. All goods will be inspected on return.

All products are the retailer’s responsibility until they reach our offices. Any packing must be sufficient to prevent any damage in transit.

The cost of returning any products under The Scheme is the responsibility of the retailer. 

The retailer will be liable for meeting any price differentials in products that may arise from season to season.

The retailer will pay freight costs if any order is under £500 / €500.
